• Where to stay...

The options available extend from hotels and villas to 'agriturismos' and, for the brave, camping!

    Hotels:
There are three towns around Tuoro wth nice hotels, Cortona to the north-west, Castiglione del Lago to the south and Passignano to the east. (Note: Tuoro is half-covered by the red '1' marker on the map)
    Sanguineto3
Cortona, across the Tuscan border, offers these 4-star hotels: San Michele, San Luca, Corys, Borga Il Melone, Relais Petrischio, La Corte Dei Papi, and...

Castiglione offers 8 3-star hotels: Aganoor, Duca Dela Corgna, La Torre, Le Macerine, Locanda Poggio Leone, Miralago, Regina Di Cuori, and Trasimeno, and the 2-stars Dependance Villa La Torre.

Tuoro itself has very little in the way of hotels to.

  • Hello All!

Hello! Hannah Richards and Ian Nouvel have created this webpage to help their family and friends plan travel and accomodation for their wedding in Umbria next September!

The timing and location of the ceremony have yet to be confirmed so, provisionally, we're planning on having a service in the church in Tuoro on the afternoon of the 29th followed by a reception in Sanguineto. Our dear, wonderful friends, the Clarks, have kindly offered to host the reception at their beautiful villa, and for that, as well as countless other efforts, we're both extremely grateful.

We really hope you all can make it!

  • Where we're getting married....

The church is, provisionally, the Church Of Santa Maria Magdalena in Tuoro Sul Trasimeno, and the reception in the Clarks' villa in Sanguineto, a small village in the hills overlooking Tuoro. Here are some maps of the area, Sanguineto is highlighted with the red '1' marker:
